King Abdulaziz University has received the full institutional accreditation from the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment in accordance with the Commission’s decision issued on 4 Ramadan 1436 AH. This accreditation extends for a period of 7 years from May 2015 to April 2020. This institutional accreditation is the culmination of the efforts of the university's employees and partners from the community and in recognition of the quality of educational, research, and administrative processes and areas of community service that are adopted and applied by the university. This accreditation also fulfills one of the most significant standards and requirements of the new universities system and a major requirement for achieving program accreditation. This accreditation also reflects the availability of high-quality systems and administrative capabilities that enable those in charge of the university administration to monitor and ensure the quality of performance, thus ensuring distinguished educational outcomes. The university's efforts are currently collaborating in preparing to renew the university’s institutional accreditation for a period extending to the year 2029, in order to achieve the university’s vision and its sustainable future plans and ensure academic and administrative quality and towards institutional leadership.
